Correction:

A story printed in Wednesday’s Pickens Sentinel and Easley Progress stated that a Christmas tree lighting would take place on Dec. 1 with appearances from A.R. Lewis students and Pickens County Superintendent Kelly Pew. That is a separate event that will take place on Nov. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Blue Ridge Electric in Pickens. We regret this error.
