PELZER — Joe Billie “Bill” LaBoone, 80, of 190 Joe Black Road, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Dayspring Health & Rehab.

Born in Anderson County, a son of the late James Oliver and Selma Gambrell LaBoone, Mr. LaBoone retired from the Monaghan Plant of Milliken Corp. and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.

Surviving are two sisters, Gloria Wynonna Black and Betty Jean Barnes, both of Easley. In addition to his parents, Mr. LaBoone was predeceased by two brothers, Jones West LaBoone and James D. LaBoone.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Memorials may be to ARK Hospice, 101 Grace Drive Easley, SC 29640.

Family members are at their respective homes.
