R.A. Gibson, retired S.C. Highway Patrol Trooper, donates $1,000 to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Greenville on behalf of the Pickens County Fraternal Order of Police. The money was raised from a variety of efforts throughout the year, Gibson, the FOP treasurer said. The 40-member organization meets the third Thursday of every month at Silver Bay in Easley and is open to retired or active law enforcement officers in good standing.
