Domestic abuse vigil planned in Liberty

LIBERTY — The third in a series of Pickens County Candlelight vigils marking Domestic Violence Awareness month is set for Thursday evening.

The event is presented by MARYS House, the shelter for abused women. It starts at 7 p.m. in Sarlin Community Square on West Front Street in Liberty.

On the program are Debbie Brown, MARYS House Board of Directors,Pastor Jeff Wright, Nine Forks Baptist Church,

Liberty Mayor Michael Sheriff, Rick Clark

MARYS House Board of Directors, State Sen.Larry Martin, Cindy Campbell, domestic violence survivor, Clay Archer,

brother of the late Sandra Smith Thomas, Uncle of the late Daniel Smith, recent Pickens County domestic violence victims,Pastor Greg Ramsey, Freedom Biker Church,

Marie Koth, Singer & Song Writer, Angie Reid Tyler James and Jessica Thomas.
