PICKENS — Pickens ladies, celebrating 87 years of the Pickens Garden Club, met April 2 to don hats and gloves and dine in the afternoon of the patio of the Hagood-Mauldin Home in downtown. PICKENS COUNTY—A proposal to add 16 new school resource officers (SROs) to elementary schools in Pickens County has not—as of yet—taken shape in the annual School District of Pickens County budget.
