The 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation will take place May 16-19 at Thornblade Club, Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer course and, new for 2013, The Reserve at Lake Keowee.

The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation is the only tournament on the PGA TOUR’s Web.com Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Web.com Tour professionals in a four-day better-ball competition over three courses. Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between three courses on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 16 lowest scoring pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing to play Sunday’s final round at Thornblade Club. Celebrities play once at each course on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Professional winner of the overall 72-hole event will take home $117,000 from the total purse of $650,000.

Since 2001, the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation has raised more than $9.25 million for 150+ charities. The tournament is a leading charity event on the Web.com Tour.

The 2013 charities include: 100 Black Men of the Upstate, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greenville, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Spartanburg, Dogs for Autism, The First Tee of Greenville, Greenville Tech Foundation, Inc., Harvest Hope Food Bank, JDRF - Greater Western Carolinas Chapter, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), New Foundations Home for Children, Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS), Play Safe, Inc., The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas, Scottish Rite Foundation, Shriners Hospitals for Children - Greenville, Spiritual Two-A-Days, and The Walker Foundation for the S.C. The charities earn funds through tournament-sponsored programs including ticket sales, one-day pro-am team sales, and volunteer recruitment.

When patrons purchase tickets online at bmwcharitygolf.com, 100 percent of the purchase price of $10, $25 and $50 tickets can be donated to one of the tournament’s charities. Volunteers can earn funds for their favorite tournament charity by choosing one of the 20 charity partners to benefit from their workdays as a volunteer. Also, charities that sell a team in one of the tournament’s one-day pro-ams will retain 50% of the purchase price.

Complimentary daily grounds admission is granted for all active duty, retired, Reserve military and veterans, along with their dependents; a valid ID is required for entry. Complimentary daily grounds admission is also granted to all youth 14 and under who are accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
