Fight for prayer

I was at the recent school board meeting. I would like to express some of my observations.

The people in attendance were a wonderful orderly group in the hundreds. Not one unruly person in the group. Just people concerned about God being kicked to the curb.

Christians by nature are peaceful people that try to handle things in a non-confrontational manner, but atheist, leftist, ungodly organizations have used this against us. But each time we have rolled over and not stood up for our rights. It was set a precedent and eventually it became the rule. I think we are doing God a really big disservice. I feel if we don’t acknowledge him, he is not going be to be happy to acknowledge us. Look where ungodly thinking has brought us to. We used to be a strong country. How many wars have we won since God started to take his hand off this country? God can’t bless ungodliness. Think back 20 years ago at the things that were acceptable, but now is common place, and courts don’t allow us to pray at certain venues using God’s name. How did we get here? One step at a time! Just like the decision our school board has to make. Will we lie down and rollover or will we stand up? I can’t think of a battle being fought and won, by not fighting.

Now to the person who started this mess. Wimp is the first name that comes to mind. A wimp is a bully who throws rocks then hides behind his mother’s apron. Coward is another description. A person is coward that won’t stand by his argument. Why don’t you identify yourself Mr. Wimp? Obviously you are an atheist “Mr. Wimp”. We don’t mind if you pray to the one you believe in, we just want to pray to the one we Believe In. Oh by the way, IF GOD DOESN’T EXIST Mr. Wimp, what’s your problem? Just let us poor ignorant Christians pray to our non-existent God. If you feel you are being left out, we will be more than happy to pray for you, if we knew who you are Mr. “Wimp”. PROBLEM SOLVED, SIMPLE ISN’T IT?

Atheist doesn’t know what to believe in. They say there is not God, but they are afraid of prayer Mr. Wimp, you are one confused individual! But God loves you, too.

Now to our legal counsel.

I’m sure our lawyers are paid whether or not they are working on our behalf. This is what I heard; to be brief we were told, we could pray a non-sectarian prayer. I thought that’s what we are doing. We are not promoting a denomination, sect or party. Our lawyer told me we could mention God, Jesus, and Lord and etc.. That’s what we want. What’s the problem?

I believe if a multimillion dollar settlement was the price, our lawyers would find a way for our citizens to win this case instead of encouraging us to lie down and roll over. People get involved. We can’t win if we don’t fight. God made a huge sacrifice for us. LET’S STAND FOR HIM.

well said, Mr. Ramsey. For too long Christians have let God be taken from this country. We need to speak up more often
