ANDERSON — Anderson County sheriff’s deputies arrested 19-year-old Deshon Maurice Clark in connection with recent burglaries in Anderson County.
Clark was located on March 1 on East Roosevelt Street in Anderson after an anonymous call to 911 led officers to that location, the ACSO said Monday in a press releases. He was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Anderson County Detention Center. Bond was set at $55,000.
On May 29, 2013, numerous items were stolen from a residence on Mt. Vernon Road in Anderson. The items included electronic equipment, collectible coins, and computer hardware. Several of the items were subsequently located behind the storage building of a residence on Corning Street. Fingerprints obtained from the recovered items were matched to Deshon Clark.
On Feb. 19, 2014, a large flat screen TV was stolen from a different residence also on Corning Street in Anderson. The television was located behind a stack of wooden fencing at a vacant residence next to the incident location. Fingerprints discovered on the back of the TV matched those on file for Clark.
Clark has also been implicated in two other offenses and five warrants have been issued for his arrest, including charges for larceny, burglary and receiving stolen goods.
