EASLEY — The Easley Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions participated in the Grand Spring Ball held earlier this year and danced to the Fox Trot, Shag Swing, Cha Cha, Waltz and current line dances to top 40 tunes.
Year II students participated in a five-course instructional dinner held before the Spring Ball, which was held March 14 at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in the Gold Ballroom.
Dance contest winners were:
Year One Fox Trot: Mary Frances Burnett, Christian Prince, Lexie White and John Henry Alexander
Year Two Fox Trot: Caroline Swillen, David Martin, Anna Ogawa and Houston Gambrell.
Year One Shag Swing: Kennedy Bloomer, Blake Leslie, Victoria Brock and Evan Mainous.
Year Two Shag Swing: Mikayla Beers, Sam McConnell, Claire Wilson and Matt Elgin.
Year One Cha Cha: Catie Reeves, Graham Boyd, Cassandra Cobb and Christian Prince.
Year Two Cha Cha: Olivia Roach, Manning Reeves, Emily Tyner and Noah Brock.
