PENDLETON — The Bart Garrison Agricultural Museum of South Carolina is holding an open house July 10 for teachers in grades 3 through 6 to introduce teachers to all the museum has to offer, as a field trip destination or as a resource for the classroom.

For the convenience of participants, two open houses will be held, one starting at 1 p.m. and the other starting at 7 p.m. Each session will last approximately 1 ½ hours. The open house is free to area teachers, but an RSVP would be appreciated. Email ellen@pendletondistrict.org, being sure to give name, grade level, school, and which open house you plan on attending.

The museum’s address is 120 History Lane in Pendleton, and is located off U.S. 76, between Clemson and Anderson, across from Tri-County Technical College. For more information about the museum, visit www.bgamsc.org or www.facebook.co/BGAMSC.
