COLUMBIA — The South Carolina State Fair will make history by hosting the nation’s first 12-day Pink Fair (#PinkFair). With its partners Palmetto Health, Lexington Medical Center and Providence Hospitals, the S.C. State Fair will celebrate the millions of breast cancer survivors.

The Fair’s Pepsi Grandstand Concert Series announces a sparkling lineup of musical entertainment, featuring performances by singer-songwriter Jennifer Nettles, country music singer Lee Brice, and rock legends ZZ Top.

Along with these headliners, concerts by The Marshall Tucker Band on opening day, followed by Charleston’s favorite boot-stomping duo Shovels & Rope, gospel great Fred Hammond, Christian pop songstress Britt Nicole with Citizen Way, and the ultimate 1990s rapper MC Hammer will be included in the price of admission.

Here is a look at the 2014 Pepsi Grandstand Series:

Oct. 8: The Marshall Tucker Band. Say Brother will open. Free with gate admission. 7 p.m.

Oct. 9: Shovels & Rope. Free with gate admission. 7 p.m.

Oct. 10: Jennifer Nettles. $30. 7 p.m.

Oct. 11: Lee Brice. $20. 7 p.m.

Oct. 12: Fred Hammond. Free with gate admission. 4 p.m.

Oct. 15: ZZ Top. $30. 7 p.m.

Oct. 17: Britt Nicole with Citizen Way. Free with gate admission. 7 p.m.

Oct. 19: MC Hammer. Free with gate admission. 6 p.m.

Paid concerts include admission to the Fair. Tickets go on sale online at www.scstatefair.org at 10 a.m. Aug. 18. The 2014 South Carolina State Fair runs from Oct. 8 through Oct. 19 at the fairgrounds on Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard in Columbia.
