The LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce counted 1,100 attendees to Tuesday’s Rockin’ Resource business-to-business and Taste of Troup event.

The rock ‘n’ roll theme carried over into many of the local businesses’ and organizations’ booths and the kickoff of the public BASH at 5:30 featured a performance by local Elvis impersonator Robby Dean, sponsored by Jerry Cleaveland State Farm.

Big Sam’s BBQ won the Taste of Troup, garnering the most votes of all the vendors offering samplings of food. CB&T won best booth with the rock ‘n’ roll theme for businesses represented at the event.
