Author JE Thompson spoke with third-graders and fifth-graders at West Pelzer Elementary about how an author comes up with ideas and enjoyed learning more about the writing process. Thompson’s first book for students, The Girl from Felony Bay, is a mystery set in Charleston. It is on the SC Children’s Book Award nominees list for 2015-2016.
