Mills included in Strathmore’s Who’s Who
ANDERSON — Trey Mills of Anderson has been included in the Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the legal field.
Mills has almost 10 years’ experience in the field of law. He is a partner at Trammell & Mills Law Firm LLC and specializes in civil personal injury law including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall injuries, dog bite and product liability cases.
Mills was awarded the Leukemia & Lymphoma Man of the Year in 2010, Super Lawyers, Rising Stars in 2012, 2013, & 2014, The National Trial Lawyers “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in 2014, and was president of the S.C. Bar Young Lawyers Division for 2012-2013.
Mills attended Mid-Carolina High School, Clemson University, and obtained his J.D. from Mercer University in 2005.

Rutledge joins Hospice
ANDERSON — Darlene Rutledge has been named director of Business Development and Special Projects for Hospice of the Upstate. She will also oversee the Admissions and Intake Department for Hospice of the Upstate.
Rutledge brings 24 years of hospice experience from across the southeast, with extensive experience in hospice state and federal regulations, hospice inpatient care, marketing and business development.
She is a certified trainer in adult and pediatric ELNEC and EPEC to provide End of Life education to all healthcare providers and the general community. She is certified in Lean Healthcare.
She is currently enrolled in the RN to MSN program at Western Governors University. She was most recently the administrator of hospice inpatient services for Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn.
Frank named GM of Palmetto Plating
EASLEY — Paul Frank has joined Palmetto Plating as its executive vice president and general manager, bringing more than 45 years of electroplating and metal finishing experience, along with strong managerial skills and customer understandings.
Frank will manage the daily operations of Palmetto Plating. He is a past president of the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society having served from 1999 to 2000. He is also one of the founding board members of the NASF. He is active in the Palmetto Chapter of the NASF and currently is the chapter secretary
Palmetto Plating Company celebrated its 50th anniversary on March 31, 2014. Started and still owned by John Cutchin Palmetto Plating is a finisher of stainless steel, anodizing, electroless nickel and many other processes. The customer base includes the nuclear, automotive, aerospace, and energy industries.
Corky’s opens new wine room, humidor
EASLEY — Corky’s Wine And Spirits, 1350 B Crestview Drive, opened a new Wine Room and Walk In Humidor on April 11. The Wine Room features a wine bar, gourmet cheese sales, wine retail, fine cigars and a smoking deck.
Chad Roberts, owner of Corky’s, said they are offering emerging artists a chance to display their work. If an artist’s work is chosen, it will be displayed for a 30- to 60-day period.
AnMed recognized for patient care
ANDERSON – AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital has received top recognition from Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation for the fifth consecutive year. The hospital ranked in the top 10 percent of qualifying rehabilitation hospitals for 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2007.
UDSMR is a non-profit group that evaluates rehabilitation hospitals on their delivery of quality care that is effective, efficient, timely and patient-centered. To determine the rankings, UDSMR uses a system that measures the efficiency and effectiveness of a hospital’s rehabilitation programs. The system evaluates and tracks a patient’s progress through the rehabilitation process to document gains.
The data used for this report was based on 12 months of 2013 data, drawn from both Medicare and non-Medicare patients.
