WALHALLA — The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a Westminster man on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Matthew Blake Sosby, 40, of 413 Jack Pelfrey Road, is wanted on a warrant regarding an incident that occurred June 18.

According to the OCSO, a deputy went to Sosby’s home on Jack Pelfrey Road to help Probation, Parole and Pardon units check on Sosby, who is on probation. PPP officials were met by three individuals, none of whom was Sosby. Sosby was not found.

Probation officials found several guns and what appeared to be some shake and bake meth lab bottles and other drug paraphernalia during a search of the home.

Narcotics officers from the OCSO found the meth labs. The guns were seized and the narcotics officers contacted SLED regarding a lab clean up.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Sosby is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-638-STOP, 1-888-CRIME-SC, or text in your tip to 274637.
