A new press box nears completion at Joe R. Gilbert Track and Field on the Central campus of Southern Wesleyan University. The facility will offer space for SWU event management staff, media members and officials for such events as soccer matches and track and field meets. Additional enhancements, including spectator seating, are planned for the track and soccer complex, which opened in the spring of 2014. The press box will also serve the future Lacrosse field, which will be constructed opposite of the current track and soccer complex.
