A visit with the mayor


Mayor Blake Sanders of West Pelzer, second from the left, visited the GoalPOST afterschool program at West Pelzer Elementary School recently for a special presentation. Sanders told the history behind the city’s origin and its reasons for people wanting this part of the county to be their own. Sanders shared his job requirements and what he does as mayor.
