Rotarians learn about watermelons


The Pickens Rotary Club recently enjoyed an update from Nat Bradford, right, of Bradford Watermelon Co., a rich family agricultural story, born in 1840 in Sumter, before it was called Sumter. Members were also treated with Watermelon Rind Pickles from the Bradford family farm during our meal. Rotarian Jon Morgan is at left.
