PICKENS — Cannon Memorial Hospital welcomed Burnett Kelly and Clayton Kerr to its Foundation Board at the Aug. 4 meeting.

Kelly has been an executive coach for Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting for the past 10 years, with an extensive background as a senior executive with a unique mix of global operations, human resources, and legal experiences in large, multi-national organizations.

Kerr completed his commercial lending curriculum at East Carolina University. In 1995 he received his Certified Credit Executive professional certification form the National Association of Credit Management.

After a 22-year career in the banking field, Kerr took a regulatory job with the National Credit Union Administration as a Federal Examiner. In 2010, he started the commercial lending division for Greenville Federal Credit Union.

His love of Pickens brought him back home in January 2014, where he began his current career as the president and CEO of Pickens Federal Credit Union.

Returning board members are Clarence (Junior) Gibson, board chairman; Liza Holder, vice chair; and Alex Gettys, secretary. Other board members include Lucy Harward, Tunkie Stokes, John Sparks, Dr. Jim Mahanes, Robin Giddings and Karen Roper.

“It is great to see you have interest in serving our community by becoming a board member here with the Cannon Foundation,” Gibson said in welcoming Kerr and Kelly to the board. “We endeavor to raise funds to provide needed equipment, training, and education to better serve our area.
