EASLEY – Beneath a cloudless sky, local families, children, and artists descended upon downtown Easley Saturday for the second annual Fall for the Arts Festival.
“It was a fantastic day with perfect weather,” said Vicki Ciplickas, owner of the Starving Artist Café. “We had a lot of people out there interested in both the farmer’s market and the art, but I think the kids from the local schools enjoyed the day the most because it gave them an opportunity to become involved in the arts.”
Fall for the Arts was hosted by the Arts Council of Pickens County in conjunction with the Easley Farmer’s Market and featured local musicians, performance art, woodworking, caricature sketches, storytelling, and painting.
“I think this event showed the community how much talent we have in the area,” Ciplickas said.
