EASLEY — The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with the Mount Carmel Baptist Church to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, September 7, 2013. All proceeds raised will be used to develop funding for community church members to participate in mission trips aiding places in need around the world.
“Mount Carmel Baptist Church provides its members with an opportunity to travel to communities in need an invaluable outreach service,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Show your support by joining together at a pancake breakfast September 7th off Calhoun Memorial Highway.”
The Mount Carmel Baptist Church fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located 5055 Calhoun Memorial Highway, Easley, SC, starting at 7:30 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Paul Turner at (864) 246-8834. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company’s efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
