Powdersville, Daniel remain unbeaten with identical 35-7 scores

PICKENS — Powdersville and Daniel high schools continued their winning ways in 2014, coming away with wins Sept. 19 by identical scores of 35-7.Although the scores might have been identical, the games were much different.Powdersville traveled to face region foe Liberty and the two played through a scoreless first quarter before the Red Devils took an early second quarter lead 7-0. From there the Patriots took over offensively and never let up, reeling off 35 unanswered points.Powdersville is now 4-0 on the year and 1-0 in the region. Liberty falls to 2-2 and 0-1.
